A guide to the thicknesses we do.

We currently do our latex in three different thicknesses.

0.4mm

This is most like a balloon, but slightly thicker, this is a fairly durable thickness, and is ideal for starting off wearing rubber as it’s also the most stretchy.

0.8mm

Ideal for the outside of inflatable garments as this will put more pressure on the wearer, especially when combined with 0.4mm inner latex layer. If used on a single layer garment then it makes it harder to put on as it will not stretch as much and it restricts movement more.

1.2mm

This is the thickest we do and is ideal for straps and reinforcment and also the outer layer of inflatables if you want to feel a lot of pressure. If used for a single layer garment it’s the least stretchy but is the most durable.
