Rubber is a sustainable product!

Did you know that the latex we sell is made from a natural product of trees? It’s made from the rubber tree, which is tapped over a number of years, and when the liquid latex has run out, the tree is chopped down, replaced with a new rubber tree, and used in furniture either as Rubberwood or a replacement for Teak. The material itself will biodegrade over time, so upon disposal of your latex items it will return to its natural state to be consumed by plants! So essentially, the latex you wear is carbon neutral*!
*(this does not include the cement used, the vulcanising process, or the process to make the sheets of latex.)
